Introduction
Winery + Non-Winery Exhibitors

Thank you for your interest in participating in the 2010 Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival.

Here are some resources to help you assess if this is the right forum for your winery or wine-related product/service if you are sitting on the fence, or to make you feel even better about your decision if you've already decided to apply:

WINERIES

Applications for the 2010 Festival will open online May 15th and close June 15th, 2009. All applications will be reviewed by a knowledgeable Winery Selection Committee, chaired by John SchreinerVancouver based wine-writer and enthusiast. The review process takes place over the summer months. Announcements of successful applications are made public in the fall.

The 32nd annual Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival will feature Agrentina and New Zealand as the Theme Regions and Rosé as the Global Focus.

Each winery that is selected to participate will showcase products at each of the five sessions in the International Festival Tasting Room. Two afternoon sessions are dedicated to members of the trade including buyers, retailers and chefs. The three evening sessions expose consumers to the outstanding wineries and wines featured at the Festival. Participating wineries have the additional opportunity to showcase their products in a range of events over the week – including winery dinners, regional lunches, Sunday brunches, seminars and boardroom tastings, as well as a comprehensive trade program. The 2009 Festival featured 183 wineries from 15 countries participating in 61 events over the course of the week.

NON-WINERY EXHIBITORS

For information on exhibiting at the 2010 Festival, contact Operations Manager Trish Metcalfe.  Note that limited space is available for purchase as participating wineries, sponsors, suppliers and other partners have precedence.

"the true decision-makers of wineries and the wine industry from around the world are all together, so the side meetings and boardroom discussions are more fruitful than any other festival in Canada, which of course, is incredibly valuable."
