The Vancouver Playhouse
International Wine Festival is Canada’s
premier wine show and widely considered to be the best consumer wine event in North America. With 25,000 admissions and at 34 years of
age, it also is one of the biggest and oldest in the world.
The young, affluent professionals who attend the festival are on average
39 years old (34 percent of attendees are under 35; another 27 percent are
between 35 and 44). They are big earners (26 percent have household incomes
of $150,000 and up; 30 percent have HHI of $100,000 to $150,000; and
21 percent are at $76,000 to $100,000 HHI), and big spenders (they spend
an average of $578 per month on wining and dining and entertainment).
The gender split is men 42 percent; women 58 percent. See more details
