Pastry chefs, cooks and students were invited to enter the
Quady Dessert Competition which brings a sweet touch to the Annual Awards
Luncheon and recognizes the talent in the kitchens who satisfy our sweet tooth.
This year entrants were judged on how well their original creation pairs
with Quady Essensia – an orange muscat dessert wine, as well as on taste,
technique, presentation and practicality. The winner, Nadin Bueher, received a hiking, fly
fishing, horseback riding adventure for two in the high Sierra Mountains in
California with a stopover at Quady Winery.
