An exploration of Australia’s cool-climate regions, single-vineyard wines and sustainable wine-making and vineyard practices. How cool is cool in Australia? And what does that mean to the wines? Look at historic, site-specific wines, the longevity of the vineyards that they come from, their significance and the quality of the wines they produce. Sustainable practices range from biodynamic to organic to water management programs that are un-matched the world over – discover what Australia’s doing. Mark Davidson, educator and Wine Australia representative, will lead a panel of winemakers through the tasting and ensuing discussion.
